HVAC Modulating Damper Actuator

OVERVIEW
The HVAC modulating damper actuator is a lightweight, automated control device independently developed for applications requiring low loads and high-precision automatic control. It integrates a miniature drive motor, a precision gear train, an intelligent servo control board, and a sealed protective housing. Characterized by low output torque, high positioning accuracy, low power consumption, and a compact structure, it effectively meets the requirements for precise opening/closing and angular adjustment of small valves, dampers, and micro-transmission mechanisms. Compared to traditional heavy-duty actuators, this product is specifically optimized for scenarios involving confined installation spaces, light loads, and high-precision control.
FEATURES OF ELECTRIC ACTUATORS
This is a modulating damper actuator designed specifically for HVAC systems. It enables precise damper adjustment via analog signals and provides corresponding position feedback. The product features a wide voltage range, a built-in manual override function, easy installation, and selectable rotation direction. With its compact design, high protection rating, and maintenance-free operation, it performs reliably across a wide ambient temperature range; it also supports parallel operation and extensive accessory options, making it a comprehensive and dependable control device.
PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
Diversified needs
The process technology sites of supporting pipelines and automated valves are all over the world. Not only the site and valve type are important factors in the selection of electric actuators, but also the climate environment of on-site operation is crucial. FRY-A electric actuators guarantee safe and reliable service under various extreme environmental conditions.

Superior performance
Quality Assurance
Only when all on-site equipment provides reliable service throughout its entire life can the entire process site be efficient, economical and safe.
Long warranty period
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Protection class
Depending on your installation environment-whether exposed to outdoor rain and snow, coastal salt spray, desert dust, or high-pressure washdowns in food or pharmaceutical facilities-we offer sealing solutions ranging from basic dust and water protection (IP65/IP67) to ultra-high-level protection (IP68/IP69K).
Ambient temperature
To address the specific operating conditions of extreme cold regions, we provide specialized, in-depth customization for manual wafer-style worm-gear butterfly valves designed for low-temperature environments. By utilizing specialized low-temperature resistant materials, lubricants suitable for a wide temperature range, and intelligent heat-tracing systems, we ensure reliable startup and precise operation even in extreme cold. We also comprehensively enhance the cold resistance of seals, electronic components, and displays, effectively preventing issues such as lubricant freezing, sluggish display response, or startup failure caused by low temperatures.
Corrosion protection
You can provide your own color code or choose special coatings for corrosion resistance, weather resistance or high temperature warnings. Using advanced spraying techniques and high-quality coatings, we ensure a long-lasting, even finish. This gives your equipment a personalized look while maintaining long-term durability in industrial environments.
Explosion-proof grade
We provide custom-engineered explosion-proof electric actuators tailored to your specific hazardous area classification and medium type (Group IIA/IIB/IIC gases or dust), fully compliant with international and domestic standards, including IECEx, ATEX, and GB 3836.
CONTROL MODE
External control All actuator signals, such as limit switch signals, torque switch signals, motor thermal protection and valve position, can be transmitted to the external control device for further processing. When designing the control logic architecture, it is necessary to fully consider the necessary protection mechanisms and minimize the delay time.
The contactor device used to control the operation of the motor is installed in the external control device and connected to the actuator via a cable.
When a local control operation interface is required, the local control operation interface should be installed near the actuator and integrated with the external control device.
Integrated control
When the actuator is powered on, the actuator with integrated control unit can be operated by the operating elements of the local control. The control unit is fully adapted to the actuator. The actuator can be set up on site without connecting to the DCS system. Only the transmission and exchange of operating commands and feedback signals are required between the control system and the actuator. The on-off control of the motor is completed instantly in the device.
Fieldbus
The use of bus cables can save a lot of space in the control cabinet, and it is more obvious that the traditional input and output signal line connection is outdated. The use of two-core cables simplifies the commissioning phase and greatly reduces the cost of cables in the long-distance field.
Another major advantage of fieldbus technology is the transmission of preventive maintenance and diagnostic information to the control room. Therefore, fieldbus technology integrates all fieldbus devices into the asset management system to support the safety protection measures of field device utilization. Actuators equipped with intelligent integrated control units can be applied to various common standard types of fieldbus systems in process automation.
