Special motor

The motor for regulating valve is the driving component of the electric actuator, and its characteristic requirements are different from those of general motors. Because the actuator works frequently and is often in the starting working state, the motor is required to have the characteristics of high starting torque, small moment of inertia and low starting current, so that the motor temperature rise will not be too high when the motor is started frequently, and there is enough torque to make the electric actuator move from static to action.

working principle

The regulating electric actuator is the main executive part of the automatic control system. It is powered by a three-phase or single-phase AC power supply, receives standard signals (including analog and digital quantities), and converts this signal into corresponding mechanical displacement or angle to operate the regulating mechanism to complete the automatic adjustment task. When the regulating electric actuator is in the automatic state, the MCU digital control module on the actuator receives the standard analog signal (4~20mA, DC) from the automatic control system, and compares it with the standard analog signal (4~20mA, DC) from the valve position transmitter on the electric actuator. If the difference between the two is greater than the dead zone set according to user requirements, the MCU digital control module sends a control signal to drive the regulating electric actuator to run in the direction of reducing the deviation between the two, until the deviation between the two is less than or equal to the dead zone set by the electric actuator, the MCU digital control module sends a control signal to stop the electric actuator. When the regulating electric actuator is in the electric manual operation state, the electric actuator can be operated by the internal jog button of the actuator.

 

adjustment

Since this actuator needs to be assembled with the valve, the stroke mechanism, torque mechanism and opening indicator mechanism of the electric actuator must be adjusted before operation after assembly. If the fully open and fully closed positions of the valve are controlled by the stroke mechanism, the torque mechanism does not need to be adjusted. If the fully closed position of the valve is controlled by the torque mechanism or the fully open and fully closed positions are controlled by mechanical limits, the torque mechanism must be readjusted. 1. If the fully open and fully closed positions of the valve are controlled by the stroke mechanism or the torque mechanism, the mechanical limit must be loosened before adjusting the stroke or torque. 2. If the fully open and fully closed positions of the valve are controlled by the mechanical limit and the torque mechanism sends a signal, the adjustment method is as follows: Manually operate the electric actuator to put the valve in the predetermined position; Adjust the corresponding mechanical limit so that it just hits the output shaft, and tighten the locking nut and cap nut of the striker pin; Adjust the torque mechanism and gradually increase the output torque value until the valve can be turned into place.
