Main Features

Product Structure

PSL linear actuator is mainly composed of electric control part and gear transmission part which are isolated from each other. The motor is used as an intermediate part connecting the two isolated parts. The motor outputs torque according to the control requirements, and transmits it to the trapezoidal screw through the multi-pole spur gear.

The screw converts the torque into thrust through the rod thread. The stem thread is self-locking and transmits linear travel to the stem through an adapter to the valve. The output shaft of the actuator has a locking pin to prevent rotation, and the radial locking device of the output shaft can be used as a position indicator.

The locking device is connected with a connecting rod, and the connecting rod runs synchronously with the output shaft. The displacement of the output shaft is converted into an electrical signal through the circuit board connected with the connecting rod, which is provided to the servo amplifier as a comparison signal and valve position feedback output.

At the same time, the actuator The stroke can also be limited by two main limit switches on the switch board, and the limited position can be adjusted by two mechanical limit stops.

Inteligent Controler PASP4

(1) PSAP4 is the intelligent proportional circuit for the PS electric actuator. Using SMT process technology, it has the characteristics of small size and high reliability. This circuit compares the 4-20mA current signal of the control actuator with the current position signal of the actuator, and controls the electric actuator to open or close according to the deviation, so that the position of the actuator is balanced with the input signal.

(2) PSAP4 realizes that the actuator operates with the input 4-20mA signal, and also provides a set of 4-20mA position signals to the system that are isolated from the working power supply, input signal and position conversion circuit.

(3) PSAP4 can easily adjust the initial position and stroke of the actuator: by modifying the menu, it can realize switching between positive and Set the location of the operating mechanism.

(4) The circuit principle is shown in the figure below. The intelligent controller is based on a dedicated single-chip microprocessor, and converts digital signals through input loop analog signals and valve position resistance signals. After the microprocessor passes the artificial intelligence control software according to the sampling result, it displays the result and outputs the control signal.

 

Local Control Box Operation PSML

On-site control PSML can realize on-site electronically controlled action actuators. The control signal can be switched between "local" and "remote" through the selector switch, and after switching to "local", the actuator can be turned on/off/closed by the manual button. The middle switch position is usually "stop", the actuator can move in two directions by pulling the switch, release the pull switch, and the switch will bounce back to the middle position.

How to Debug PSL Series Linear Electric Actuator

1. Adjustment of the limit switch of the PSL linear actuator After the actuator is connected to the valve, the PSL actuator must be set to meet the valve control requirements. The limit switch of the actuator is adjusted according to the valve type is determined by the "travel" or "Closing Force/Stroke" Basic Principles

(1) For straight-through valves, first set the closed position according to the "shutoff force/stroke", and then set the open position according to the rated stroke of the valve

(2) For the three-way valve, set the two terminal positions according to the "shutoff force/stroke", and determine the limit switch of the actuator according to the "shutoff force/stroke"

(3) The spool of the valve driven by the manual actuator contacts the valve seat. When the valve stem starts to move axially, the force on the valve stem is the reaction force of the coil spring of the actuator.

(4) Continue to drive the actuator in the same direction until the coil spring of the actuator is compressed to the corresponding value shown in the coil spring diagram. This ensures the shut-off force and prevents leakage
