DZW series electric valve actuator is a new generation of products developed independently by our company based on the original mature products, which improves and perfects the structure, optimizes the protection performance and key components. It has the advantages of compact structure, small size, beautiful appearance, stable and reliable performance. The good protection level can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof integral on-off type, integral modulating type.

 

DZW series products are used to control the opening and closing of valves. It is suitable for gate valves, globe valves, shut-off valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves and dampers, etc. It can accurately act according to the control instructions and is an indispensable driving device for the valve to realize remote control, centralized control and automatic control.

 

 

FEATURES OF ELECTRIC ACTUATORS

This series electric valve actuator has the following features:

• Compact and robust construction, lightweight.

• Wide range of torque variation (Multi-turn: 100-3500Nm).

• Hard anodized aluminum housing inside and outside with external high temperature paint coating for use against severe industrial environment.

• Enclosure uses radial seals & O-rings that provide protection to waterproof IP67 and optional watertight lP68.

• lSO5211 standard.

• It automatically identifies and corrects phases. Automatic phase failure protection protects equipment safety.

• Reliable mechanical torque sensing system providing safe operation in overload condition.

• Large size window and indicator provides better position indication from a distance.

• Number of local position control options to provide easy commissioning and field operation.

PRODUCT STRUCTURE

DZW Multi Turn Electric Actuator

Control unit

 

1. Terminal box

The independent sealed terminal box ensures the sealing integrity of the electrical part of the electric actuator when performing on-site wiring, and meets the product explosion-proof requirements.

 

2. Sealed structure

The actuator adopts a double-sealed design structure to ensure that the actuator is completely waterproof and dustproof; the standard product protection grade is IP67, and the highest grade can reach IP68.

 

3. Power transmission

The power transmission of the actuator uses a precision reduction mechanism consisting of a bronze alloy worm gear and an alloy steel worm. The worm gear and worm run separately in grease, which is suitable for the maximum ambient temperature difference and maximizes the service life.

 

4. Output interface

The actuator flange complies with ISO5210/5211 (GB12222/12223) standards, and also provides flange interfaces that comply with JB2920 standards, and it can be specially customized according to customer requirements.

 

5. Shell anti-corrosion

The outer surface of the actuator is painted with a special aluminum alloy paint with a tough paint film and strong adhesion. It has strong UV resistance, corrosion resistance and high fullness, which can comprehensively improve the service life and self-cleaning properties of the coating and is suitable for various harsh production environments.

 

6. Motor

The motor adopts low inertia and high torque motor, which can quickly reach the peak torque after the motor starts, and there is almost no over-limit movement when not excited; there is a precise temperature sensor in the motor, and the over-temperature limit is set through the control system to avoid damage caused by overheating of the motor.

 

7. LCD interface

The LCD interface can display text information, graphical elements and actuator characteristics.

 

8. Selection of control mode

The selective switch "Remote"-"Stop"-"Local"installed on the local operating device can be used to set up remote operation (remote control) or local operation (local control) or stop mode. 9. Local electric operation The operating switch "Open"-"Close" installed on the local operating device can be used to open or close actuator locally.

Bus control function:

The communication module adopts an independent structure combined on the main board to meet the needs of different communication media and different communication protocol systems. Currently supported communication protocols include Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS-DP V0/DP V1, HART, FF, DeviceNe (optional).

 

Infrared remote control function:

The actuator uses advanced infrared remote control technology, which enables human-machine dialogue through a sealed dialogue window without opening the actuator cover. Even in hazardous situations, the intrinsically safe remote control can safely perform parameter setting and remote operation of the actuator.

 

PRECISE TORQUE MEASUREMENT AND PROTECTION

Professionally designed torque measurement system to ensure actuator overload protection and real-time monitoring of valve torque changes:

(Standard configuration) Mechanical torque measurement: The traditional mechanical torque trigger mechanism has the advantages of maturity, stability and reliability. We have optimized and upgraded it based on the original torque, making the torque device more sensitive and its service life greatly improved.

(Optional) Electronic torque measurement: By detecting the real-time current, voltage and magnetic flux of the motor, and working with the microcontroller for comprehensive calculations, the accurate output torque is obtained and continuous measurement is achieved; this system does not need to consider mechanical wear, which improves the reliability of the system.

 

MOTOR MEASUREMENT AND PROTECTION

Overheating: When the motor temperature exceeds the set overheat protection value, the motor is prohibited from running, and the motor overheat alarm message is displayed. Overload and short circuit: The circuit is designed with ADI's precision voltage conversion chip to meet the precise measurement of a wide range of current changes; the overload anti-delay characteristics and short-circuit protection meet relevant standards.

 

Instantaneous reverse protection: Using instantaneous reverse delay control technology, when the actuator receives a reverse operation signal during operation, the control system will shut down first, and then perform the reverse action after a delay to prevent damage to the mechanical transmission parts.

 

Electronic brake: The modulating electric actuator ensures that the valve stops at the set valve position through dead zone setting and electronic brake.
