MANUAL ROTARY BUTTERFLY VALVE
Flange type butterfly valve
Manual worm gear butterfly valve is a valve that drives the butterfly plate to rotate through a worm gear transmission mechanism. It is mainly used for cutting off, regulating and flow control of media in pipelines. Its core function is to amplify the torque by manually rotating the worm gear, driving the butterfly plate to rotate 0°~90° to achieve opening and closing.

The overall structure is compact, only a few parts are needed to complete the assembly, small size, light weight, convenient for use in scenarios with limited pipeline space
Valve body and butterfly plate
Valve body: mostly made of cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel, supporting flange type, wafer type and other connection methods (DN50~DN1000).
Butterfly plate: disc-shaped structure, installed vertically in the center of the pipeline, parallel to the fluid direction when fully open to reduce flow resistance.
Transmission mechanism
Turbine worm assembly: torque amplification is achieved through worm meshing turbine, reducing manual operation force (especially suitable for large-diameter valves of DN300 and above);
Handwheel/handle: rotation angle is limited to 90°, clockwise closing, counterclockwise opening, operation time ≤10 seconds (within DN700).
Elastic seal
The sealing ring is made of nitrile rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene, embedded in the valve body or butterfly plate, suitable for normal temperature and low pressure media (such as water, gas) ≤100C;
Metal seal
Composite stainless steel and flexible graphite structure, with a temperature resistance of up to 300C, suitable for high temperature and high pressure conditions (such as steam and oil).
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Industrial scenarios: used in petroleum, chemical, and power systems to regulate or cut off water, steam, gas and other media, especially suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments such as smoke and air ducts and gas pipelines;
People's livelihood areas: used as cut-off valves in low-pressure pipelines such as heating, water supply and drainage.
