EXTENDED STEM DAMPER BUTTERFLY VALVE
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The extended stem damper butterfly valve is designed for special installation scenarios such as deep wells, underground pipe networks, and pipes wrapped in insulation layers. Through the customized extended valve stem (adjustable from 200 to 3000mm), the ground remote operation of the valve opening and closing is realized. It adopts a combination of multi-layer metal hard seals and graphite fillers, with a pressure resistance of PN10, suitable for media such as sewage, steam, and corrosive gases, and is widely used in complex working conditions such as municipal, petrochemical, and thermal pipe networks.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Stem support requirements
When the valve stem length is greater than 1500mm, an intermediate bearing bracket must be installed
The underground part of the stem should be wrapped with anti-corrosion tape (such as polyethylene tape)
Key points for sealing protection
When crossing the groundwater level, use a double gland packing seal Install a dust cover at the ground outlet to prevent mud and sand from entering
Operation precautions
Manual model: Lubricate the valve stem thread regularly (once every quarter)
Electric model: Set the overload protection torque ≤ 80% of the rated value
