The difference between rising stem and non rising stem
1. It can be divided according to the structure of the gate.
Parallel gate valve: The sealing surface is parallel to the vertical center line, that is, the two sealing surfaces are parallel to each other. Among parallel gate valves, the structure with a thrust wedge is often common. There is a double-sided thrust wedge between the two gate plates. This kind of gate valve is suitable for low pressure and small and medium diameter (DN40-300mm) gate valves. There are also two gate valves with a thrust wedge between the two gate plates. There is a spring between them, and the spring can generate pre-tightening force, which is beneficial to the sealing of the gate plate.
Wedge gate valve: The sealing surface forms a certain angle with the vertical centerline, that is, the two sealing surfaces form a wedge shape. In the modular gate valve, there are single gate, double gate and resilient gate. The single-gate mode gate valve has a simple structure and is reliable in use, but it requires high precision of the sealing surface angle, making processing and maintenance difficult, and it is highly likely to become wedged when the temperature changes. Double gate mode gate valves are often used in water and steam medium pipelines

When opening and closing the gate, the valve stem nut is rotated to realize the lifting and lowering of the valve stem. This structure is beneficial to the lubrication of the valve stem and the degree of opening and closing is obvious, so it is adopted. . Non stem gate valve: The valve stem nut is in the valve body and in direct contact with the material. When opening and closing the valve, the valve stem is rotated.
