PNEUMATIC BUTTERFLY VALVE
OVERVIEW
Pneumatic wafer butterfly valve is a valve widely used in industrial pipelines, mainly used for fluid control, flow regulation and fluid cut-off.
The valve consists of a pneumatic actuator and a butterfly valve. The pneumatic actuator uses compressed air as the power source. By driving the valve stem to rotate, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates in the pipeline, thereby changing the flow cross-sectional area and flow rate inside the pipeline to achieve fluid control. The butterfly plate of the butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. In the cylindrical channel of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis. When the valve rotates 90° from the initial position, an action (from open to closed or from closed to open) is completed.
The pneumatic wafer butterfly valve has the characteristics of simple structure, easy operation and good sealing performance. The valve body is generally made of cast iron or stainless steel, with high strength and corrosion resistance; the valve plate is made of metal or rubber material and connected to the pneumatic actuator through the valve stem. In addition, pneumatic wafer butterfly valves can also be designed to have the function of regulation or cut-off and regulation according to actual needs. They are widely used in pipeline systems in many industrial fields such as petroleum, gas, chemical industry, water treatment, electricity, metallurgy, food, etc.

Good sealing performance
The sealing materials of pneumatic wafer butterfly valves are diverse, including nitrile rubber, fluorine rubber, edible rubber and PTFE lined. Among them, the metal seal butterfly valve is a soft and hard laminated metal sheet, which has the advantages of both metal hard seal and elastic seal, and has excellent sealing performance even under low temperature conditions.
