Hand operator

DFD series electric operators are auxiliary devices for terminal control units of industrial process measurement and control systems. They can complete functions such as manual and automatic working state switching of electric actuators, remote operation and automatic tracking and disturbance-free switching. There are working state indicators and a double-needle ammeter that displays the regulator output current and actuator feedback current on the panel of the electric operator. The electric operator can also output limit relay signals in the automatic working state, and realize the electrical limit of the electric actuator in conjunction with the electric servo amplifier.
Structure and principle
The electric operator uses the principle of switch working system to switch between "manual" ←→ "automatic" working states and perform manual operation. Automatic tracking means that in the "automatic" working state, the voltage drop (i.e., tracking voltage) generated by the resistor -R1 on the channel of the actuator position feedback current is applied to the integral capacitor end of the regulator, so that the regulator output current always tracks the change of the actuator position feedback current to maintain equality.
The electric operator is mainly composed of a switching and operating switch, an opening meter (double-needle ammeter), a resistor, an indicator light, and a circuit for controlling the limit alarm. The upper part of the opening meter on the electric operator panel displays the regulator output current (i.e., the input current of the servo amplifier), and the lower part displays the actuator position feedback current. The indicator lights display the "manual" and "automatic" working states respectively. In the "manual" working state, the circuit of the electric operator can be simplified as Figure 2-A, and the "manual" indicator light is on. Press. The "▼" ("▲") switch is turned on, the motor of the actuator is energized, and the actuator output arm moves in the "open" ("close") direction. The tracking voltage generated by the position feedback current on the resistor-R1 is connected in parallel with the integral capacitor of the regulator through the terminals-x4:14x and x4:15 of the electric operator. At the same time, the terminals-x4:16 and-x4:17 of the electric operator are short-circuited, and the PID regulation is changed to PI regulation, realizing the rapid tracking of the actuator position feedback current by the regulator output current. When the regulator output current is equal to the actuator position feedback current, the electric operator switches from the "manual" to the "automatic" working state, and the output element of the actuator remains in the original position, realizing the disturbance-free switching from the "manual" to the "automatic" working state. In the "automatic" working state, the circuit of the electric operator can be simplified as Figure 2-B, and the "automatic" indicator light is on. When the electric operator switches from "automatic" to "manual" working state, the motor of the actuator is powered off, and the position of the output arm remains unchanged, realizing a disturbance-free switch from "automatic" to "manual" working state.
The electric operator has an electronic limit function. The principle is that the position feedback current of the actuator generates a voltage drop when flowing through R1 in the operator. This voltage drop is sent to the ML393 dual comparator through the amplifier and compared with the given limit voltage. When a comparator has a low potential output, its corresponding relay is activated. When the relay is activated, one pair of contacts locks the amplifier, causing the amplifier to stop outputting and the actuator to stop rotating, and the other pair of contacts connects to the panel indicator light for alarm use.
