Split Electric Actuator

Intelligent split electric actuator, referred to as Z-type electric actuator, is a driving device for valve opening, closing or adjustment control. Z-type electrical installation is suitable for gate valves, globe valves, diaphragm valves, plunger valves, throttle valves, water gates, etc. It can be used for rising stem valves and concealed stem valves. Compared with traditional actuators, this split-type actuator has no changes in its installation dimensions and system wiring, and is highly interchangeable; by adjusting the "zero" and "full" potentiometers, it can output a 4-20mA DC signal . The difference is that the position transmitter is sent to the positioning board for processing by a special split connecting cable.
The actuator and control unit are connected separately through a special connecting cable. Since the protection level of the connecting cable is IP67, it effectively solves the problem of sealing after split connection. The two ends of the connecting cable are fixed with plug-in terminals, which is easy to disassemble and assemble. .
The control part is far away from the work site, and there is no signal attenuation within 100m of the dedicated connecting cable, so it can work normally.
Since most components are incorporated into the control unit, and the control part is installed in a location with relatively good environmental conditions, the reliability of the operation of electronic components is greatly improved, and the failure rate is also significantly reduced.
The separation of the control unit makes maintenance and debugging extremely convenient, especially for actuators installed in harsh and dangerous environments. Maintenance personnel only need to operate the actuator, adjust the valve position, switch limit, etc. at the installation position. This It not only simplifies the maintenance and debugging work and reduces the workload, but also ensures the safety of maintenance personnel.

Precautions for use
(1) The vulnerable parts of the split actuator are installed in the control unit, so the performance requirements of the control unit are relatively high. The working environment temperature of the modified control unit is lower, but inspections should be stepped up to ensure reliable work.
(2) The split actuator uses the control part and the actuator part to separate and connect them with a cable in the middle. Due to the problem of transmission signal attenuation, the effective length of the separation cable must be considered.
(3) Since the transmission signal between the control part and the actuator part is weak, the problem of signal anti-interference needs to be considered.

A split actuator separates the mechanical part of the actuator from the electrical control part. The mechanical part and valves are installed in on-site environments such as pipes or dampers, while the electrical control part is installed in a place with a relatively good environment through wiring.
