Product Overview
3810R series electronic actuator is a new type of actuator that uses 220V AC single-phase power supply as the driving power, receives the control signal (DC4-20mA or DC1-5V) from the regulator, and realizes the predetermined linear reciprocating motion. When this series of actuators are used as the actuators of regulating valves, they almost have all kinds of action transformation functions required by the regulating valve itself, as well as valve opening signal functions and manual functions. Therefore, it is widely used in industrial sectors such as power generation, metallurgy, petrochemical, light industry and environmental protection.
Product Features
●The actuator is designed with a built-in servo system, no additional servo amplifier is needed, it only needs to be connected with DC4-20mA (or DC1-5V) signal and AC220V single-phase power supply to work. There are wiring terminals inside, and the wiring is extremely simple and convenient. The key part of the actuator, the controller, adopts a hybrid integrated circuit and is potted with resin. It has a box-like shape, small volume, and high reliability.
●Feedback detection of position quantity adopts high-performance conductive plastic potentiometer, resolution <0.4, with high life and reliability.
●Self-diagnosis function, when a fault occurs, the indicator light on the controller will send out an indication signal immediately.
●Use the state dial switch to set the off signal, the spool is in fully open, fully closed or self-locking state.
●Positive and negative actions can be set with the status dial switch.
●The input signal can be set as DC4-20mA or DC1-5V by the status dial switch.
●Intelligent stall protection technology: No matter where the actuator is stalled, the internal stall protection will protect the motor within 4 seconds and shut off the power supply of the motor. Even if the controller is strongly disturbed and the internal relay is broken down and short-circuited, the internal locked-rotor protection will shut down the motor within 4S, so that the motor will not be damaged.
●Automatic stall release technology. According to the setting of the user's DIP switch, when the actuator is blocked, it can be reversed for 1 second to remove the blocking. If there is still a blocking at this time, the controller will perform blocking protection, alarm and turn off all motor outputs. The user can also input a signal to make the motor run in the opposite direction to release the protection manually.
●Electronic brake: accurate and stable positioning, which solves the wear and tear and inaccurate positioning of traditional mechanical brakes.
●Intelligent anti-instantaneous reverse technology: During the operation of the actuator, the time delay is inserted during the forward and reverse switching process, which reduces the impact on the valve, the motor deceleration device and the actuator, improves the overall reliability and prolongs the service life.

Product Composition
1. Controller: accept the DC4~20mA or DC1~5V signal from the regulator, and control the actuator to work according to the predetermined mode.
2. Transmission mechanism: Turn the rotational motion of the motor into the linear reciprocating motion of the power output shaft to realize the switch and adjustment functions of the regulating valve.
3. Opening detection mechanism: Feedback the linear motion displacement of the output shaft (the opening of the spool) to the potentiometer through the rack and gear, and the potentiometer converts it into an electrical signal and then feeds it back to the controller. When the input from the regulator When the difference between the signal and the opening signal of the spool is zero, the motor will stop working.
4. Connection mechanism: connect the actuator and the controlled valve through the bracket, and connect the output shaft of the actuator with the valve stem by the split nut. There is a pointer on the split nut, and a scale on the bracket, which can indicate the output shaft (or stem) displacement. 5. Manual mechanism: This actuator is also designed with a manual mechanism. In the case of power failure, the opening, closing and adjustment functions of the regulating valve can be completed by manual operation as required.
Installation

Adjustment
Regardless of whether the actuator is shipped as a single unit or assembled on a control valve, it has been adjusted before leaving the factory. However, considering that severe vibrations and impacts may occur during transportation and installation, it is necessary to confirm whether its action is correct before operation. Accurate, if there is a deviation or does not meet the current requirements, it should be readjusted according to the following steps
Wiring
☆ Loosen the cover fastening bolts, and remove the cover vertically upwards.
☆ The connection between the external wiring and the wiring terminals on the controller shall be in accordance with the requirements of the wiring diagram on the side of the controller. ☆ Setting of state switch: There is a 6-digit dial switch on the controller;
☆ The positive and negative action states are set by switches 1 and 2;
☆ The action state of the off signal is set by switches 3 and 4: When the switch 3 is ON and 4 is OFF, once the break signal is detected, the actuator will run to the fully open position; When the switch 3 is OFF and 4 is ON, once the break signal is detected, the actuator will run to the fully closed position; When the switch 3 is ON and 4 is ON or 3 is OFF and 4 is OFF, once the break signal is detected, the actuator remains in the current position without action.
☆ The blocking protection action is set by switch 5 ☆ Input signal status is set by switch 6 Input signal state setting: ①When the input signal is DC4-20mA, turn switch 6 to the right to ON. ② When the input signal is DC1-5V, turn switch 6 to the left to OFF.
☆ Stall protection action setting ① Turn the DIP switch 5 to ON, and when a stall occurs, the actuator will run in the opposite direction once to automatically release the stall. ②Dip the code switch 5 to OFF. When a stall occurs, the motor power will be turned off directly and the alarm will enter the protection state.
☆ Break signal action setting: ① "Full open state": Turn switch 3 to the right to ON, and switch 4 to the left to OFF. At this time, when the input signal is disconnected, the output shaft of the actuator rotates counterclockwise until the limit switch acts, and the spool is at "Full open" position. ②"Fully closed state": Turn switch 4 to the right to ON, and switch 3 to the left to OFF. At this time, when the input signal is disconnected, the output shaft of the actuator rotates clockwise until the limit switch acts, and the spool is at "Full off" position. ③ "Hold state": Turn the switches 3 and 4 to the left to OFF, at this time, when the input signal is disconnected, the output shaft of the actuator stops rotating and the spool remains at the current position.
☆ Forward and reverse action setting ①"Positive action state": Turn switch 1 to the right to ON, switch 2 to the left to OFF, at this time, as the input signal increases, the output shaft rotates clockwise (closes the spool); as the input signal decreases Small, the output shaft rotates counterclockwise (opens the spool). ②"Reverse action state": Turn switch 1 to the left to OFF, turn switch 2 to the right to ON, at this time, as the input signal increases, the output shaft rotates counterclockwise (open the spool); as the input signal decreases Small, the output shaft rotates clockwise (closes the spool).
