Main Features

Structure and connection dimensions
The electric actuator is mainly composed of a control unit, a brushless motor, an operation panel, a gearbox etc. The motor rotates according to the command requirements, transmits the torque to the output shaft through multi-stage gears, and drives the part-turn valve to adjust and control. The actuator adopts a non-intrusive structure. The wiring operation does not require opening the electrical cover. It only needs to be wired through the terminal cavity and operated through the operation panel.

The actuator and valve are connected using a spline coupling, as shown in the figure. The outer dimensions of the spline coupling are processed at the factory and do not need to be processed by the user; the shaft hole dimensions can be pre-processed according to the user's requirements before delivery. The dimensions of the connecting flange and spline coupling are shown in the figure below




Debugging and use
1. Operation before power on
1) Handwheel operation: Intelligent electric actuators are equipped with a handwheel system. The handwheel can effectively operate the actuator at any time.
2) Connection between actuator and valve The actuator should be fastened to the valve with appropriate bolts and connecting devices. When the actuator is connected, the actuator can be operated at any position. Please pay attention to the position of the actuator: After the junction box cover is sealed, the cable gland must not face upward to avoid water ingress and cause malfunctions. Try to avoid the motor facing downward to prevent internal condensation from entering the motor.
3) Electrical connection When wiring, only the junction box cover needs to be opened. Please do not open other end covers to avoid moisture entry. The wiring terminal is a spring-type terminal, using a wire diameter of 22~14AWG (0.3~2mm2). If the power supply is a three-phase power supply, there is no need to pay attention to the phase sequence, the actuator will automatically correct the phase sequence. After completing the wiring, please make sure that the end cover screws and cable glands are tightened.
