The butterfly plate of the wafer type soft seal butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. In the cylindrical channel of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis, and the rotation angle is between 0° and 90°. When it rotates to 90°, the valve is fully open.
At present, soft-seal butterfly valves, as a component used to realize the on-off and flow control of pipeline systems, have been widely used in many fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, hydropower, etc. In the known butterfly valve technology, its sealing form mostly adopts a sealing structure, and the sealing material is rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. Due to the limitation of structural characteristics, it is not suitable for industries such as high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance. A relatively advanced butterfly valve is a three-eccentric metal metal seal butterfly valve. The valve body and valve seat are connected components, and the valve seat sealing surface layer is welded with heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy materials. The multi-layer soft stacking seal ring is fixed on the valve plate. Compared with the traditional butterfly valve, this butterfly valve has the advantages of high temperature resistance, easy operation, no friction when opening and closing, and the seal is compensated as the torque of the transmission mechanism increases when closing, which improves the sealing performance of the butterfly valve and extends its service life.
The following problems still exist in the use of the wafer soft-seal butterfly valve:
1. Since the multi-layer soft and hard stacked sealing ring is fixed on the valve plate, when the valve plate is normally open, the medium forms a positive scouring on its sealing surface. After the soft sealing belt in the metal sheet interlayer is scoured, it directly affects the sealing performance.
2. Due to the limitation of structural conditions, this structure is not suitable for valves with a diameter below DN200. The reason is that the overall structure of the valve plate is too thick and the flow resistance is large.
3. Due to the principle of the three-eccentric structure, the seal between the sealing surface of the valve plate and the valve seat is pressed against the valve seat by the torque of the transmission device. In the positive flow state, the higher the medium pressure, the tighter the seal extrusion. When the flow channel medium flows back, as the medium pressure increases, the unit positive pressure between the valve plate and the valve seat is less than the medium pressure, and the seal begins to leak.

Product quality inspection
1. Inspect the products produced on the electric actuator production line every day, 100% inspection. First, open the indicator cover and check whether the wiring is beautiful, whether the limit cams in the opening and closing directions are fully raised, and whether the pointer position is consistent with the actual position of the actuator. , whether the screws inside are tightened, check whether the back cover is correct, and check whether there is paint peeling on the appearance of the electric actuator. Dirt, manual wrench, waterproof connector, manual dust plug, sight glass, and sight glass gland are all installed. After everything is correct, use a laser marking machine to mark the product number on the back of the electric actuator. The product number should include the date of the day, and finally put the foam into storage.
2. Inspection of complete sets of valves: After the valve installation production line operator completes the debugging, he will take the production order to the quality inspector, and the quality inspector will check the production order and products one by one (inspection items: valve quantity, diameter, material, connection method. Whether the pressure is consistent with the production order, whether the voltage, control type, connection method of the electric actuator, whether it is an explosion-proof product, and whether it is consistent with the production order, whether the screws of the valve and electric actuator are tightened, whether there are any missing ones)
3. Inspection before packing: Check whether the product quantity, model, voltage, control method, and spare parts are consistent with the production order.
4. Inspection of random inspection products in the processing center: Once in the morning and afternoon every day, take the inspection item list to the processing center and randomly select a processed product from each machine. Find the processing center operator and ask him to measure one by one according to the inspection item list. , and keep records.
