High temperature ball valve
Overview
The high-temperature ball valve has a metal sealing structure, and the sealing form is metal-to-metal sealing, replaceable metal sealing ring-to-metal sealing, stainless steel plate and graphite composite plate sealing ring-to-metal sealing. In addition to electric drive, hard-sealed butterfly valves also have manual, turbine rod transmission, pneumatic, etc. The butterfly plate of the high temperature ball valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipe. In the cylindrical channel of the hard-sealed ball valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis with a rotation angle between 0° and 90°. When it rotates to 90°, the valve is fully open.
Precautions
1. Since the multi-layer soft and hard stacked sealing rings are fixed on the valve plate, when the valve plate is in the normally open state, the medium will cause front erosion on its sealing surface. After the soft sealing belt in the metal sheet sandwich is washed away, it will directly affect the sealing performance. 2. Restricted by structural conditions, this structure is not suitable for valves with diameters below DN200. The reason is that the overall structure of the valve plate is too thick and the flow resistance is large. 3. The seal between the sealing surface of the valve plate and the valve seat relies on the torque of the transmission device to press the valve plate to the valve seat. In the forward flow state, the higher the medium pressure, the tighter the sealing squeeze. When the medium in the flow channel flows counter-currently and as the medium pressure increases, the unit positive pressure between the valve plate and the valve seat is less than the medium pressure, and the seal begins to leak.

The ball valve body can be integral or combined.
The high temperature ball valve has the action of rotating 90 degrees. The plug body is a sphere with a circular through hole or channel passing through its axis. The ball valve is mainly used to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline. It only needs to rotate 90 degrees and a small rotational torque to close tightly. Ball valves are most suitable for use as switches and cut-off valves, but recent developments have designed ball valves to be used for throttling and controlling flow, such as V-shaped ball valves.
