Overview
The side-mounted semi-ball valve is the crystallization of the spiritual changes of traditional ball valves. It is a metal valve that fixes the metal ball crown on the eccentric sphere, realizes the opening and closing of the valve through the 90-degree rotation of the eccentric crankshaft, and is in contact with the sealing surface of the metal ball crown. The seat floats in the axial and radial directions to compensate for the matching of the ball crown and the valve seat. The simple and reliable structure and metal sealing method make it not only an advantageous replacement for gate valves, but also applicable to systems that cannot be used. It can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy and other industries, with unique design and novel structure.
The sealing hemisphere assembly of the side-mounted eccentric semi-ball valve is installed from the flange side. This structure is easy to maintain, does not need to be completely disassembled from the pipeline, is more wear-resistant, and is easier to operate. When opening, the ball is hidden in the valve cavity, with a large flow carrying surface. When closing, the spherical surface of the valve core is progressive along the valve seat, and has a shearing function, effectively removing scaling obstacles and achieving reliable sealing. It is suitable for use in sewage treatment, paper pulp, alumina, urban heating, oil, natural gas, liquid-solid mixed media or media prone to chemical crystallization, etc.
Working principle
When the side-mounted eccentric semi-ball valve closes the valve, the eccentric ball core enters the valve seat and forms a wedge-shaped mechanism under the action of eccentricity. The valve disc gradually compresses the valve seat to achieve sealing; when the valve is opened, the eccentric ball core quickly separates from the valve seat, and the valve is fully open. Scope of application: This series of valves is suitable for medium and low pressure pipeline systems in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, textile, papermaking, water conservancy and other departments. It is also suitable for sewage treatment, steam, air, gas, mortar, slurry and other weak Conveying, intercepting, throttling, etc. of dirty fluid media.
Features
1. It is tightly sealed and can transport harmful gases with zero leakage.

3. The valve seat can still be used after adjustment or replacement, which avoids the disadvantage of the entire unit being scrapped after the valve seal fails.
4. The hemisphere and valve seat are surfacing-welded accordingly and undergo special treatment to provide anti-corrosion, wear-resistant, high-strength and other types to meet the needs of different occasions.
5. There is a compensation amount left in the valve core of the sealing pair. When the valve is worn, rotate it a little when closing to ensure reliable sealing and extend the service life.
6. The flow cross section is large, and the valve core will not be washed when closed. When opened, the spherical surface of the valve core gradually moves along the valve seat, effectively removing scaling obstacles and achieving reliable sealing.
