The 3810L series electronic actuator uses 220V AC single-phase power supply as the driving power supply, receives the control signal (DC4-20mA or DC1-5V) from the regulator, and realizes the predetermined linear reciprocating motion. When this series of actuators is used as the actuator of a regulating valve, it has almost all the action conversion functions required by the regulating valve itself, as well as the valve opening signal function and manual function. Therefore, it is used in industrial sectors such as power generation, metallurgy, petrochemicals, light industry and environmental protection. 2.2 Product Features This series of products has the following main features: the actuator is designed with a built-in servo system, no need for an additional servo amplifier, it only needs to be connected to a DC4-20mA (or DC1-5V) signal and AC220V single-phase power supply to work. Built-in wiring terminals make wiring extremely simple and convenient. The key component of the actuator, the controller, uses advanced hybrid integrated circuits and is potted with resin. It is box-shaped in shape, small in size and high in reliability. The feedback detection of position quantity uses conductive plastic potentiometer with resolution <0.4% and extremely long life.

CPA control module installation precautions

◆Please carefully check whether there is any mechanical jamming problem in the actuator and valve between replacing and installing modules! Installation can only be done after confirming that there is no jamming. Inspection method: After the power is turned off, manually turn the valve to fully open and then fully close to confirm that there is no jamming of the machine.

◆Please confirm whether the module status switch is correct before replacement or installation. (Status switches 2, 5, and 6 are closed and 1, 3, and 4 are disconnected, which is the correct state).

◆Please strictly follow the module wiring instruction label when wiring. Wrong wiring is strictly prohibited!

◆Please adjust the zero point and stroke potentiometer accurately (the sensitivity adjustment potentiometer has been set before leaving the factory. There is no need to adjust it if there are no special requirements)

debugging steps instructions

Step 1: First cut off the power supply

Step 2: Manually shake the valve to fully open and then fully close to confirm that there is no jamming of the machine;

Step 3: Follow the instructions on the module label and wire correctly;

Step 4: Turn on the signal source and set the signal to 12ma;

Step 5: Turn on the power and adjust the stroke potentiometer so that the actuator is approximately positioned at 50% opening position;

Step 6: Given the signal 4ma, the actuator moves in the direction of valve closing. Adjust the zero point potentiometer so that the valve is in the fully closed position.

Step 7: Turn on the power and adjust the stroke potentiometer so that the actuator is approximately positioned at 50% opening position;

Step 8: Given the signal 4ma, the actuator moves in the direction of valve closing. Adjust the zero point potentiometer so that the valve is in the fully closed position. Note: The limit switch should not be pressed at this time.

Step 9: Given the signal 20ma, the actuator moves in the direction of valve opening. Adjust the stroke potentiometer so that the valve is in the fully open position. Note: The limit switch should not be pressed at this time.

Step 10: Continuously give signals so that the valve can open and close correctly. Debugging is over.
