SD ELECTRIC ACTUATOR

SD quarter-turn electric actuators are suitable for butterfly valves, ball valves, damper butterfly valves, plug valves etc, which are required to turn 90°.
These actuators are featured by compact structure, small volume, beautiful appearance, stable performance, high efficiency, high reliability, high protection capability and so on. Both operation at site and remote controlling can be carried out. So they have been applied in petroleum and chemical industries, power plant, water treatment and paper-making industries.

PRODUCT STRUCTURE

1 [Local operation]
The selective switch "Remote"-"Stop""Local" installed on the local operating device can be used to set up remote operation (remote control) or local operation (local control) or stop mode.
2 [LCD interface]
The LCD interface is designed in terms of the visual and operational habits of users and displays torque, valve opening, limit setting and failure alarm information in the form of text and graph.
3 [[Over-torque protection function]
The product uses professionally designed torque measurement system so as to guarantee the overload protection of equipment. Users can set up the protection values for over-torque at closing and opening directions in terms of specific conditions. When the actual torque borne by the actuator reaches or exceeds the established protection value, the actuator will immediately stop the motor and emit failure alarm.
4 [System integration function]
Using few electronic components and avoiding complex wiring improves the reliability of electronic control of electric actuators.
5 [Absolute coding technology]
The motor used in the actuator is a special motor with high starting torque, low rotational inertia, small starting current, and good servo characteristics. The motor is allowed to start frequently, generally 1,200 times per hour.
6 [Motor]
The manual/electric reversion handle can be operated at any time safely. At the same time of pressing down the handle with proper force, turn the hand wheel slowly so as to drive the internal clutch. The clutch can be automatically segregated when the electric motor is power on and is locked up.

8 [Phase sequence protection ]
By using phase synchronization technology, users needn't consider the phase sequence of three-phase alternating current when installing wire connection of actuator. lt can guarantee the correct power supply phase sequence for three-phase electric motor and enable the actuator to operate correctively in terms of commands all the time during operation process.

Bus control function:
The communication module adopts an independent structure combined on the main board to meet the needs of different communication media and different communication protocol systems. Currently supported communication protocols include Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS-DP V0/DP V1, HART, FF, DeviceNe (optional).
Infrared remote control function:
The actuator uses advanced infrared remote control technology, which enables human-machine dialogue through a sealed dialogue window without opening the actuator cover. Even in hazardous situations, the intrinsically safe remote control can safely perform parameter setting and remote operation of the actuator.
PRECISE TORQUE MEASUREMENT AND PROTECTION
Professionally designed torque measurement system to ensure actuator overload protection and real-time monitoring of valve torque changes:
(Standard configuration) Mechanical torque measurement: The traditional mechanical torque trigger mechanism has the advantages of maturity, stability and reliability. We have optimized and upgraded it based on the original torque, making the torque device more sensitive and its service life greatly improved.
(Optional) Electronic torque measurement: By detecting the real-time current, voltage and magnetic flux of the motor, and working with the microcontroller for comprehensive calculations, the accurate output torque is obtained and continuous measurement is achieved; this system does not need to consider mechanical wear, which improves the reliability of the system.
MOTOR MEASUREMENT AND PROTECTION
Overheating: When the motor temperature exceeds the set overheat protection value, the motor is prohibited from running, and the motor overheat alarm message is displayed. Overload and short circuit: The circuit is designed with ADI's precision voltage conversion chip to meet the precise measurement of a wide range of current changes; the overload anti-delay characteristics and short-circuit protection meet relevant standards.
Instantaneous reverse protection: Using instantaneous reverse delay control technology, when the actuator receives a reverse operation signal during operation, the control system will shut down first, and then perform the reverse action after a delay to prevent damage to the mechanical transmission parts.
Electronic brake: The modulating electric actuator ensures that the valve stops at the set valve position through dead zone setting and electronic brake.
