There are many types of faults in electric actuators, as follows:
The actuator works, but there is no valve position indication, check the counter, maybe the circular magnet is broken or the counter board is broken;
The remote control of the actuator is normal, once the local control is performed, the "actuator alarms", and the local control board is replaced;
The displayed valve position is inconsistent with the actual valve position. After resetting the limit, if the movement still occurs several times, the counter board should be replaced;
The actuator operates normally, but there is no valve position feedback, and the volume 22/23 loop is only about 1~3mA. Reset, it doesn't work, replace the servo + position return board;
In the remote control adjustment state, the up and down swing cannot be positioned, and the "dead zone adjustment parameter Fd" can be increased. However, if the parameter is increased to more than 20, it will not swing, and the servo release (+ position return) board can be replaced;
When the Rotork electric actuator is manual/automatic, the displayed valve position does not change, and the feedback does not change, and the "limit open/close LO/LC" parameter cannot be set. The motherboard is damaged, replace the motherboard.
