IP 67
The standard configuration of the QT Actuator Controls has a sealing protection rating of IP 67 according to the EN 60 529 standard. Actuators with this standard seal protection rating can be submerged to a depth of 1 meter and operate for up to 30 minutes.
IP 68
The QT actuator controls are capable of improved sealing protection IP 68 according to EN 60 529. This grade can withstand submersion up to 6 meters, 72 hours of continuous placement, and 10 operations under water.
To ensure the requirements for sealing class IP 68, suitable cable glands are required. If the customer has a request, QT can provide it, but this is not part of the scope of supply of the standard configuration
