The electric actuator for valves is a key component used to drive and control valve operation, and is directly mounted onto the valve body. Powered by electricity, its operating process can be precisely controlled based on stroke, output torque, or axial thrust. The performance and application efficiency of valve electric actuators are affected by the valve type, working conditions, and installation position on pipelines or equipment.

The basic principles for selecting electric valve actuators include the following points:

Operating torque is the most critical parameter when choosing an electric actuator.

The internal structure of the electric actuator. It is necessary to confirm whether the actuator body needs to bear axial thrust during selection.

The number of output shaft revolutions is determined by the valve's nominal diameter, stem pitch, and thread number.

Valve stem diameter. The inner bore of the hollow output shaft must be larger than the outer diameter of the rising valve stem.

Suitable output operating speed.

Installation methods include vertical and horizontal installation; the connection type adopts a thrust seat. Generally, valve electric actuators are equipped with a torque-limiting coupling.
