1. Check that the valve is in the fully open position
After finishing the grease injection, first check whether the valve ball diameter is flush with the inner cavity of the valve seat. If there is a difference, adjust the open limit bolt on the actuator to ensure that the valve is fully open. Otherwise, the valve will not be able to be installed once it is installed. Determine whether the valve is in the fully open position.
2. The valve cannot be filled with grease
(1) When performing grease injection operation on the valve shaft (rod), the sealing pressure in the valve shaft (rod) shall not exceed 20.68MPa. Once it exceeds, check whether the grease injection gun is malfunctioning and whether the outlet valve at the grease outlet of the grease injection gun is open .
(2) If there is no fault in the valve grease gun, check whether the grease injection nozzle is blocked, that is, slowly unscrew the grease injection nozzle, install it to the grease outlet of the grease injection gun, and observe the grease injection nozzle performance. If there is no grease, it indicates that the one-way valve inside the grease injection nozzle is malfunctioning and the grease injection nozzle should be replaced. If the grease injection nozzle can produce grease, check the one-way valve in the grease injection hole downstream of the grease injection nozzle (usually the one-way valve is installed in the grease injection hole of the imported valve), and use a special tool to unscrew it for inspection. If there is a blockage such as a raw material tape that needs to be removed, the serious fault should be replaced.
If the grease still cannot be injected, it should be reported to a professional engineer and on-site supervisor, and the factory will resolve it on site.
3. Uneven grease output from the grease injection hole
After the valve is greased, sometimes the valve seat seal grease injection pipeline will be blocked, resulting in uneven or no grease output in the valve seat grease injection hole. At this time, the valve can be closed from the fully open state by 15°～25° Observe the grease hole of the valve seat, and gently dredge it with a soft tool, and then observe the grease injection. Special attention is needed to prevent grease injection during the rotation of the valve ball to avoid damage to the seat seal. Under normal circumstances, there are 4 grease injection nozzles on each side of the ball valve, and the grease output is relatively uniform, while the grease output of 2 grease injection nozzles is relatively uneven.
