An electric valve is a device that controls the opening and closing of a valve through an electric actuator. It can not only realize the opening and closing function, but also adjust the valve position.
Simply put, an electric valve uses an electric actuator to control the valve, thereby realizing the opening and closing of the valve. An electric valve is mainly composed of an electric actuator and a valve. It can be divided into two parts, the upper part is the electric actuator, and the lower part is the valve.

Technical principle
The electric actuator is responsible for converting electrical energy into mechanical energy to drive the valve to switch or adjust. The stroke of the electric actuator can be 90° quarter-turn or linear-turn , and special requirements can also meet the full stroke of 180°, 270°, and 360°. The quarter-turn electric actuator is used with the quarter-turn valve to realize the valve rotation within 90° to control the flow of pipeline fluid; the linear-turn electric actuator is used with the linear turn valve to realize the up and down movement of the valve plate to control the flow of pipeline fluid.

Basic types
According to the valve position function, it can be divided into: on-off type electric valve and modulating type electric valve;
According to the valve position form, it can be divided into: electric ball valve and electric butterfly valve;
According to the valve body shape, it can also be divided into: ordinary electric valve and micro electric valve.
Electric valves are generally on-off type, and there are also modulating types, such as: fan water inlet pipe regulating water flow, etc. On-off type electric valves are generally divided into normally closed and normally open types. Normally closed type means that the valve is in the closed state when the power is off, and normally open type means that the valve is in the open state when the power is off;
