1. Quarter-turn actuator
For this type of valve actuator, the rotation of the output shaft is less than one revolution, that is, less than three hundred and sixty degrees. Normally, as long as there is ninety degrees, the valve opening and closing process can be controlled. This type of valve actuator can be divided into two types: direct connection type and base crank type according to the different installation interface methods. Among them, the direct connection type means that the actuator output shaft is directly connected to the valve stem, while the base crank type means that the output shaft is connected to the valve stem through the crank. It is more suitable for use with butterfly valves, ball valves, plug valves and other types of valves.
