The flow channel of the oblique globe valve body is at a certain angle to the main flow channel. This type of globe valve makes the medium almost unchanged in flow direction, making the flow state less damaged than conventional globe valves, with minimal flow resistance, and thus the pressure loss through the oblique valve is correspondingly small. This type of globe valve is widely used in high-pressure dissolution devices in alumina production, and is particularly suitable for working conditions where the medium is prone to scarring.
