The power components of the actuator are mainly composed of a motor, a reducer, a torque travel limiter, a switch control box, a handwheel, a mechanical limit device, and a position transmitter.

1.1 Electric motor

The electric motor is the power device of the actuator. RJ series electric actuators are equipped with special single-phase or three-phase AC asynchronous motors, which have high starting torque multiples, low starting current and small moment of inertia, so they have better servo characteristics.

1.2 Reducer

The high-speed stage of the reducer of the angular stroke actuator of not more than 600Nm is a two-stage planetary gear transmission, and the output stage is a worm drive.

The high-speed stage of the reducer of the multi-turn actuator is planetary gear transmission, and the output stage is staggered shaft helical gear transmission. The reducer of the angular stroke actuator of not less than 1000Nm is composed of a multi-turn actuator reducer and a worm reducer.

1.3 Torque stroke limiter

The torque travel limiter is a standard unit set in the reducer, which consists of a torque limiting mechanism, a travel control mechanism, a position sensor and a wiring terminal.

1.4 Switch control box

The switch control box is installed on the reducer through connecting screw sleeves.

The integral proportional adjustment electric actuator is equipped with GAMX-2000 electronic position locator in the switch control box.

Discrete proportional adjustment type, remote control type, switch type, and electric actuator are equipped with relays, AC contactors and other devices in the switch control box, which form a protection circuit with the torque limit micro switch described in 1.3.1. When the actuator is over-torque, the motor can be powered off immediately in this direction, thereby protecting the transmission mechanism. The circuit has a memory function to keep the over-torque protection state until the fault is removed.

       1.5 Handwheel

Manual local operation can be realized by turning the handwheel in the fault state and debugging process.

      1.6 Mechanical limit device

The mechanical limit is mainly used for limit position protection in case of failure and to prevent exceeding the limit position during manual operation.

The mechanical limit device of the quarter-turn actuator not larger than 600Nm is the two adjustable screws at the bottom of the reducer box.

The mechanical limit device of the quarter-turn actuator of not less than 1000Nm is a fixed stop set in the worm reducer box.

The mechanical limit device of the linear-turn actuator is set in the linear displacement mechanism.
