01 Pay attention to the correct direction when opening and closing the valve
The valve has a fixed direction when opening and closing. Usually, counterclockwise means opening the valve, while clockwise means closing the valve. If you need to manually operate the electric valve actuator, you must pay attention to opening or closing the valve in the correct direction when operating.
02 Be careful not to use tools to operate
Since the handwheel, handle and other operating parts on the valve are designed according to normal manpower, when manually operating the valve electric actuator, you should also pay attention to directly operate it by hand, and not use tools such as levers or long wrenches to open or close the valve, so as to avoid damage due to excessive force. In addition, when the handwheel is fully opened, you should also pay attention to reverse it a little to make the threads tight to avoid loosening and damage.
03 Pay attention to marking
If the handwheel of the electric valve actuator is used for limit, it should be in the predetermined position. When inspecting, pay attention to remember the fully open and fully closed positions with the help of a ruler and a marker pen, so as to avoid hitting the dead point when fully opened. In addition, before manually operating the electric valve actuator, the operator should also pay attention to loosening the handwheel lock nut before operating. After the operation is completed, unless otherwise specified, the handwheel must be opened and locked with the lock nut.
