Particularly in industrially developed nations such as the United States, Japan, Germany, France, and Italy, butterfly valves are extensively utilized, with their varieties and quantities continuously expanding. They are evolving toward high-temperature, high-pressure, large-diameter, high-sealing, long-life, superior regulation characteristics, and multi-functionality. Their reliability and performance indicators have reached a high level, and they have partially replaced globe valves, gate valves, and ball valves. With the advancement of butterfly valve technology, in the foreseeable near future, especially in the field of medium and low-pressure applications for large and medium-sized ports, butterfly valves will become the dominant valve form.
