The valve bonnet is connected to the valve body one by one and together with the valve body (or through other parts, such as diaphragms, etc.), constitutes the main part of the pressure chamber. The valve bonnet and valve body are connected through gaskets, studs and nuts to form a pressure chamber. However, not all types of valves have valve bonnets. Some valve types do not require valve bonnet. Only the valve body itself forms a pressure chamber.
Opening and closing parts, also known as closing parts, refer to the general name of parts used to cut off or regulate the flow of media. The names of the opening and closing parts in different types of valves are different, such as the gate plate of the gate valve, the disc of the globe valve, the ball of the ball valve, the plug of the plug valve, the butterfly plate of the butterfly valve, etc.
The valve seats are installed one by one on the valve body and form a sealing pair with the opening and closing parts. The valve seat of the gate valve can be installed on the valve body through threading, welding or expansion joints. The specific installation method depends on the specific structure. Under normal circumstances, the valve seat is inlaid or overlayed with sealing surface material, which together with the sealing surface of the opening and closing parts form a sealing pair.
