Keep the exterior and moving parts of the valve clean and protect the integrity of the valve paint. The surface of the valve, the trapezoidal thread on the valve stem and the valve stem nut, the sliding part of the valve stem nut and the bracket, as well as the gears, worm gears, worms and other components are prone to deposit a lot of dust, oil and medium residues and other dirt, which will cause wear and corrosion to the valve. Therefore, the valve should be kept clean frequently. General dust on the valve can be swept with brush and compressed air, or even with copper wire brush, until the processing surface and mating surface show metallic luster, and the paint surface shows the true color of the paint. The steam trap should be under the responsibility of a special person and should be checked at least once per shift; regularly open the flush valve and the bottom plug of the steam trap for flushing, or remove it regularly for flushing, so as to prevent dirt from blocking the valve.
